Mark Brewer’s Biography

Mark Brewer is the Chief Information Officer of Seagate Technology, a global leader in data storage solutions. As CIO, Mark is responsible for all aspects of IT strategy and operations for the company, including business systems, manufacturing-execution systems and the corporate IT infrastructure.

Mark joined Seagate in 1992 from AT&T Network Systems. Prior to becoming CIO in 1997, he served as Senior Director of IT and VP of IT for Seagate’s Asia Operations. Mark currently serves on the Board of Trustees for both the Missions Resource Network and Oklahoma Christian University, as well as serving on the Board of Director for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

Mark completed his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Oklahoma State University.
