Talent's Strategic Role in Making Transformations Stick with TIAA and Fannie Mae Executives

Sastry Durvasula is the Chief Information and Client Services Officer of TIAA, a Fortune 100 company that manages $1.2 trillion in assets under management. He has been in his role for a little less than a year. Among his responsibilities are the company's global data and artificial intelligence strategy, global business services, client tech labs and partnerships across retirement services, Nuveen Asset Management, Wealth Management, and other businesses and subsidiaries. Sastry serves on the board of TIAA India, as well as on the board of Girls in Tech, a non-profit organization focused on improving opportunities for women in tech. Sastry is a seasoned tech executive having previously been the Chief Technology and Digital Officer of McKinsey & Company and the Chief Digital Officer and Chief Data and Analytics Officer of Marsh, as well as the CIO and Enterprise Head of Data and Digital at American Express. Ramon Richards is the Chief Information Officer of Fannie Mae, a mortgage financing company that earns roughly $47.5 billion dollars in annual revenue. He's been with the organization for 23 years, and as CIO, he is responsible for Fannie Mae's technology assets, cybersecurity, enterprise data assets, as well as for implementing digital solutions that enable the rest of the company and deliver value for Fannie Mae's customers. Ramon and his team accelerate the enterprise’s technology transformation initiatives, enable comprehensive technology engagement with business partners, and define the next horizon of technology priorities for the company.
